To Change The System, Be The System.

I have recently made up my mind to contribute towards administrative sector of this country. After a long thought and figuring out how can I make the real impact towards society and the country, this decision of mine has given me that real push factor.

I studied Bachelor’s in Information Management and despite having that degree, I was not sure what to do with my life. I had a year gap after Bachelor’s and finally I decided to enroll in Master’s of Public Administration degree.

The bureaucratic system of Nepal has lot of drawbacks which has made development extremely difficult. The main role of bureaucracy is to make important decisions by state officials by staying inside the boundary of the law.

However in the case of Nepal, elected representatives influence the huge chunk of bureaucracy in terms of decision making. The elected representatives have their own political agenda and other interests which creates conflict with independent bureaucracy which should always be neutral.

Looking at this dire situation, I have decided to make a real impact in the bureaucracy from my side. I want to become decent public administrator of this country who works on the behalf of the people and not the politicians.
